You can't expect any CBs to cover NFL caliber WRs forever, and that's how long our D-line is giving the opposing QBs to throw.

Aaron freaking Rodgers didn't even complete a single pass over twenty yards so give the guy some credit
Really??? The only reason he didn't complete a longer than 20yd pass is because they had to have safeties cover back deep over top and Robinson gave a ten yd cushion to start each play. Remember last year in GB? He's done that every game this year. He is wide-eyed and appears scared in coverage on every play. Remember the reason that Steve Smith had over 100 yds in week 2? (a little 66yd play) That wasn't the DLine's fault, leaving the #1 threat on the field uncovered when there is only you and him on that side of the field = epic fail!

Yes, the DLine is horrible at getting any push and CBs can't cover forever but when every QB knows to throw your way for a sure 5-7 yds you are failing as a CB. And I give him all the credit for the pick on Rodgers but I can't seem to forget the utter miss the week before in the KC game.

I can only hope that he pans out the way you guys believe he will but so far, history is not on your side.

This. I wish I could understand why some still continue to defend Robinson. The man is terrible. However, he isn't the only terrible player. Everyone on this defense is bad as you said. The only guy that I have seen that is playing good is Curtis Lofton, but he can't do it all. We need some serious help on D.

Re: If the Saints turn this around

Maybe we need to blitz more, not Gregg Williams style but much more than we do, but I will say this Washington and Carolina would not have beat us With Williams style. This is a long process with Spags so I want be counting on any miricles this season with this D but by the end of the season he will have enough players ready to do their job next season. We need the best nose tackle there is in the draft , and a safety, Jenkins is a bust. Ellis is history and his replacement is in the draft, I hope the same for our 1st rounder Jenkins although he could make a damn fine SS.

Huh? Robinson is playing the best of anyone on our defense right now. What are you talking about?

If the regular refs would have been in we would be 3-1 right now. And not because of bad calls.
