Aaron Kromer: We’re ready to bust out
It has not been an easy start for the Saints, but their interim head coach thinks things are about to get a lot better.
Aaron Kromer believes his team is on the verge of busting out after an 0-4 start that some have attributed to the hangover from the tumultuous offseason that left Kromer in charge of the team. If that was the case, Kromer thinks that it is all in the past. “We’re so much better now than we were Week One and Two. We’re not the same team, and we’re getting to that point, we’re ready to bust out at any time now, and that’s exactly what I told the guys,” Kromer said on WWL in New Orleans, via SportsRadioInterviews.com “If they can’t sense it, then they’re blind — they’re not paying attention — because we’re a way different team, a way more intense, attacking football team than we were in Week One and Week Two. And we just need to convert that to a win.” The Saints played their best offensive game of the year at Green Bay in Week Four, but it still wasn’t enough to get them a win. Until they get better work from the defense, there probably won’t be many more wins either. The unit looked like it was going to be a problem regardless of who was filling the head coaching role and that’s just what it has proven to be through the first four games. Re: Aaron Kromer: We’re ready to bust out
Have to agree with him on that point. Probably one of the best 0-4 teams in the history of the NFL. They are losing by small margins. A loss is not a loss IMO. If you are getting beat into the ground there is no hope. People will turn off the TV. These are close games that keep you on the edge. A play or two and we win. Unfortunately Atlanta is riding a wave right now and are motivated. Even if we find a groove probably won't get close to catching them. Our only hope is to start winning and get in through the back door.

Going to be hard to do since IMO the 2 wildcard teams are going to come out of the NFC West

Re: Aaron Kromer: We’re ready to bust out
I have to say I think he is right. I know it's bleak but we are going to be scary team for ANYONE to face. I think part of the problem was the tempo the refs kept. Ask New England Green Bay and Peyton Manning. We all play off of tempo and mismatches and after 3 weeks we were all a combined 4-9 after 3 weeks. We didn't have a coach but they did. I think it has got to be accounted for.

Re: Aaron Kromer: We’re ready to bust out
I know I will get totally annihilated for this but oh well, I think the refs have more to do with our 0-4 start than Sean Payton. Our tempo is what kills other teams. We didn't have it. I didn't think this before but I do now watching the other offenses similar to ours. All these teams suddenly have great offensive weeks. All the games are much shorter. I don't know but give it to me I am ready.
