Re: Forbes.com: The NFL's Most Valuable Fans
I"m surprised we're easily in 2nd place. Not surprised the Packers are #1 but revenue per fan is asstounding, $86 for us, $390 for them. Thats a heckuva difference.

Re: Forbes.com: The NFL's Most Valuable Fans
I did not attempt to try and figure out the exact formula they are using for that revenue per fan, but I think it is based something on the population of the area. Green Bay's very small population looks to be the reason their number jumped to $390.

Not too sure how accurate this article is, but it does give a little insight:

Re: Forbes.com: The NFL's Most Valuable Fans
There's definitely something that doesn't jive in those calculations. It is not an apples to oranges comparison. I think the premise of the calculation is wrong, what is it they are really calculating. When it goes to tickets, concessions, advertising, and local media deals, there is no freaking way the Packers have more local revenues than the Cowboys. Heck I don't see how anyone would have more revenue from tickets, concessions, advertising, and local media deals than the Cowboys, given not only the way Jerry Jones whores that franchise, but the money around Dallas in comparison to the money around Green Bay.
