In sports, especially in the NFL, rarely does one win cure what ails you.
But you would have had a difficult time telling that late Sunday night to the New Orleans Saints, who didn’t care — nor should they have at that point — that they’re still in the very deep hole they dug for themselves in the first four weeks of the season. Who could blame them? Whether it turns out to be merely a placebo, or not, mattered little to the Saints after they rallied late for a stirring 31-24 win over the San Diego Chargers in a noisy Mercedes-Benz Superdome. At least it was something, something to feel good about and give them a good vibe as they prepared for their bye week — which includes six days away from the daily grind. Continue reading |

Der Kommisar is trying to ruin our momentum. How would it look if we actually got on a winning streak? People might actually pull for us.......and he just couldn't have that.
