Week 6, Game 2: Chiefs @ Buccaneers
Why it is important: Bucs are a division opponent. Saints need to start closing the distance between them and the rest of the division.

Desired outcome: Pull for the Chiefs. Bucs play very well at home, and the Chiefs just lost a heartbreaker vs. a very good Ravens team. Will the Chiefs be able to regroup and play a great game? It’s a matter of how well they are coached. RB Jammal Charles had 125 yds. Rushing (vs. the Ravens) in the FIRST HALF! Chiefs’ QB Matt Cassel was injured last week, and that will slow down the Chiefs’ offense.

Week 6, Game 3: Colts @ Jets
N/A: AFC opponents

Week 6, Game 4: Bengals @ Browns
N/A: AFC opponents

Week 6, Game 5: Lions @ Eagles
Why it is important: Both teams are NFC rivals

Desired outcome: Saints are chasing BOTH teams in the NFC (conference record), but the Eagles may still be the stronger team. You may disagree, and I wouldn’t blame you. For now, I say pull for the Lions.

Confidence factor for a good outcome: 4.5 out of 10

Week 6, Game 6: Raiders @ Falcons
Why it is important: Falcons are our division rival, undefeated, and are (obviously) well ahead of the Saints.

Desired outcome: Pull for the Raiders. Oakland may ambush the Falcons, who pulled off an emotional “nailbiter” last week.

Confidence factor for a good outcome: 4 out of 10

Week 6, Game 7: Rams @ Dolphins
Why it is important: Rams are a conference rival.

Desired outcome: Pull for the Dolphins. Rams are a much improved team, and their confidence is growing. Reggie Bush is still among the league leaders in rushing, and will likely have a good game in South Florida (Miami).

Confidence factor for a good outcome: 5.5 out of 10

Week 6, Game 8: Cowboys @ Ravens
Why it is important: Cowboys are a conference rival.

Desired outcome: Pull for the Ravens. Cowboys are coming off a BYE, and are in the thick of the NFC East race. Ravens are in control of the AFC North, and would like nothing more than to make a STATEMENT vs. the Cowboys. Ray Lewis will have the Ravens amped-up.

Week 6, Game 9: Bills @ Cardinals
Why it is important: Cardinals are a conference rival

Desired outcome: Pull for the Bills. Cardinals are ticked-off after being brought back down to earth from the ranks of the unbeaten. They will be at home, and know that they are tied with the 49’ers for first place in the division. They won’t need much motivation in this one, but let’s hope that the Bills win the turnover battle.

Week 6, Game 10: Patriots @ Seahawks
Why it is important: Seahawks are a conference rival.

Desired outcome: Pull for the Patriots. New England has found a running game, and that is BAD news for any opponent (given how well they throw the ball). On the other hand, the Seahawks play very well at home. Let’s hope the Patriots play a well balanced game, and emerge with the “W.”

Week 6, Game 11: Giants @ 49ers
Why it is important: Both teams are conference rivals.

Desired outcome: Hard to pick this one (you could make good arguments either way). The way I see it, the 49’ers are playing LIGHTS OUT in the last few games. They look strong, and will definitely be in the thick of it in the playoff hunt. But you never know WHICH Giants’ team will show up. Giants matchup well vs. the 49’ers in this one, and somehow …I smell a possible upset. Pull for the Giants.

Week 6, Game 12: Vikings @ Redskins
Why it is important: Both teams are conference rivals.

Desired outcome: Pull for the Redskins. Vikings have gotten off to a TREMENDOUS start, and are leading the NFC North. Percy Harvin is playing at BEAST level, and Adrian Peterson is finding his game again. Redskins are still rebuilding, and appear to be in disarray. Let’s hope that RG3 has a monster game, and the Vikings LOSE the turnover battle.

Week 6, Game 13: Packers @ Texans
Why it is important: Packers are a conference rival.

Desired outcome: Pull for the Texans. Houston is playing as well as any team in the entire NFL. They are balanced, and looking scary-good! Packers come into this game as the underdog.

Confidence factor for a good outcome: 6 out of 10
