Re: Quiet Note

Great to have an all-around team player like Colston.

Re: Quiet Note

Great for Colston. He's been a gem since he got here.

One other thing I want to say about him as well as a few other receivers like Devery. It seems the WR position is a difficult one to play without so called "swagger". You get the likes of Terrell Owens and Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson who exemplify the "me" persona of this position in football moreso than others. I see more WR's than any other position feel the need be a hollywood performer rather than an athlete.

I've always been a proponent of the mentality that you act like it isn't your first time and you don't showboat. I give more respect to the quiet warriors who get their job done without having to wear a clown costume and make sure the camera catches their antics. Regrettably Joe Horn, as much as I love the guy, had a little too much of this in him. Guys like Colston and Devery however, have none of it. They are professionals and they act like it. I think it's great Devery got to catch a monumental TD such as that. I think it's great Colston becomes the Saints all-time leader in receiving TD's. These two classy guys deserve these milestones because they not only earn it with their play, but they earn the karma through their actions.

Players with good attitudes and great work ethic will always have a place on a team before self serving egotistical players if talent and production are equal.

Yeah your right

Expanding on your notes, there's two different types of swagger

The type that colston, devery have - unspoken, confident in there abilities but don't say a word, let their play do the talking

Then there's the overconfident type - answer this question - with all this overconfidence what has happened to - chad and T.O - your answer is the unemployment line

Kinda the same with moss seen as he went to 9ers and disappeared
