BUCCANEERS OFFENSE
Tampa Bay's offense is led by quarterback Josh Freeman, who has a passer rating of 84.2 this season. Freeman had one of his best games this season against the Chiefs, throwing for 328 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Freeman has eight touchdowns, five interceptions and three fumbles this season. The Bucs rank No. 27 in the NFL in total offense, averaging 313.4 yards per game. They are averaging 101.8 rushing yards a game (ranked 17) and 211.6 passing yards per game (25). Doug Martin leads the running backs with 323 rushing yards, while Vincent Jackson is the No. 1 receiver. He has 20 receptions and 370 receiving yards. The offensive line has allowed eight sacks, which ranks No. 4 in the league. BUCCANEERS DEFENSE Tampa Bay's defense currently allows 387.2 yards per game, No. 25 in the league. The Bucs have a stout run defense ranked No. 4, allowing only 75 rushing yards per game. It'll be difficult for the Saints' No. 30 ranked rushing offense to accumulate many yards. The Bucs have struggled in pass defense, allowing 312.2 yards per game, which ranks No. 31 in the NFL. The Saints have the top-ranked passing offense. Our strenths can over come our weaknesses. I don't think that the Bucs can say the same thing. They can't keep up with our passing game.
They are very weak against the passing game. The Saints should be able to beat this team. |
