New Orleans Saints Marques Colston close to setting another team record
Although his nickname is “The Quiet Storm”, you might disagree with that as New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston is such a dominant, physical force on offense and continues to break team records.
Two weeks ago, Colston broke the record for most touchdown receptions that was previously held by former Saints receiver Joe Horn at 50. Colston caught three touchdown passes to break the record with 52. Today he also caught his 53rd against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If he stays on track, Colston could break another record held by a longtime fan favorite former running back Duece McAllister. McAllister currently holds the total touchdown record of 55. With Colston’s touchdown today, he tied former Saints running back Dalton Hilliard’s total touchdown mark. New Orleans Saints Marques Colston close to setting another team record |

He runs the same route almost every time. Speed guys clear and he crosses behind the LB's in front of the safeties. Yet, he's usually wide open.

Colston is fearless, remember when someone said we made a mistake by signing him long term for the money he got
He has like 450 yards and 4 TD's now, he's playing awesome |

What record is that? Most slow starts to a season only to finish with best hands in the league mid-way through??

Pound for pound one of the best draft values ever. And he plays the game with class and humility. How can you not love the guy despite some slow starts. I'll never think anything other than "thank goodness he was a Saint".

Playing at the level he's playing validates his contract - sure hope he can get healthy and keep on keeping on...
