What did you see: Week 7
What observations did you take from the game against the bucs.
- Beware the Kiss of Drew, he'll give you compliments in one breath, and comense to making you look foolish time after time. Don't believe me ask Ronde Barber. - Killer Instinct, we were up 2 Tds with the ball, that was the time to put this game away. They consistently make me pull out the heartburn medicine!!!! - How the hell old is Joe Morgan, it looks like Mickey Loomis gave out an underage contract. - Tyquan Underwood hairdo made Kid and Play proud, he musta took cues from Cam Jordan's barber!!!! - Seems like you don't ever see Martez Wilson and Junior Galette until the 4th quarter, more playing time please. - Patrick Robinson is reverting back to his rookie form, not freaking good. - David Thomas Jimmy Graham salute: Priceless. He knows at his age its no way he dunking it, a lil light lay up though!!!! Yeah!!! - Jonathan Vilma makes this team better without even trying hard, or being in on a lot of snaps. - All of Tampa Bays moves and money was out in display this game, but not in a good way. V.Jax$$$ gunned down by Malcolm Jenkins, Joe Morgan's TD was on Eric Wright$$$ and the Creamsicle Barron 1st RD pick. |

Gallette is the only guy that gets pressure on the QB.
Moore needs to stay healthy. The secondary scheme is not good. If Brees is going to Morgan, he needs to throw it early and hard as he can. Vilma and Lofton on the field at the same time is a good thing. I would like to see Morgan returning punts. The guy just makes plays. |

Re: What did you see: Week 7
Joe Morgan made an incredible play when we needed it most
The last two drives by our offense were flat out pathetic, we needed to put he game away and the offense gave it straight back twice in a row, we were lucky because that could have hurt us Offense played bad all second half, they need to keep it consistent, we need a running game so we can close games out, Don't go conservative in the second half, trying to run bootleg plays p***ed me off, the bucs couldn't stop our 5 wide set, we were asking for trouble by going conservative like that |

The defense needs to start putting the opposing team into position where they HAVE to punt. You could have Jermon Bushrod as the punt returner and it wouldn't matter if the other team is consistently getting in the end zone or in field goal range.

Punting should be like nailing the lid shut on the other team's coffin. Every time you force a punt, you hammer another big nail in, they see less and less daylight, and get closer and closer to being trapped inside... |

Re: What did you see: Week 7
I saw the Saints make a four down goal line stand and then watch the offense march it the other way for a touchdown...
That was just...awesome... There is no bigger kick in the nuts in sports than that 14 pt swing... |

Re: What did you see: Week 7
The asst coaches seem to have it together now.
Big plays / head scratchers still need work. Defensive line showing signs of improvement. Hartley scares me. This team can get down early but is never out. This resiliency, this ability to fight back (offense and defense) is building trust among players and it shows - each week brings more swagger. On a side note: I love, LOVE that we get to face Manning before Ryan. |
