Can't agree with you on that. All it would have taken is one finger on the ball by any defender and that would have been a TD. Jenkins showed you never give up on a play no matter what. It's the one time I'm glad our defense didn't have their hands up and possibly tip that ball.

Jenkins and this play are apples to oranges. Had Williams not taken him self out it could have gone to an eligible receiver and been a TD. Disagree if you like, it doesn't change the fact that when that ball left Freemans hand on its way to Williams the game was over no matter what happened after that. |

But really, at that point, in that situation, after being pushed out of bounds and knowing the rule, taking yourself out of the play is the smart thing to do. It has nothing to do with lack of effort. |
