Re: What happened to Carl Nicks?
Carl should buy a Golden Corral franchise...
...with all that extra Lollipop and Rainbows Money, he could offset his losses when Cousins Sed, Will, Cam and his Uncles Sully and Chuck come in to eat each and every day and talk about their potential... |
Re: What happened to Carl Nicks?
They were obviously trying to shove Nicks in our faces by runnning the ball so darn much on that goal line stand, the same way that San Diego tried to shove Meachem in our faces with trying to force throw him TD's. Didn't work this time, thanks for the "W" Carl, we'll take it.

Re: What happened to Carl Nicks?
nicks cares less about the game, in it for the cash. i'll say this he won't have a 13 year career, when his pockets are full enough hes out.

Re: What happened to Carl Nicks?
He was a very good guard for us and still will be, but as stated, Brees makes even bad o-linemen look decent and good ones great. Not a huge down grade in my opinion with Grubbs. We do need to upgrade the OT's though. They are weak.

Re: What happened to Carl Nicks?
Why is center a position of need? Did we give upon de la Puenta? Nicks may have made him look better or feel more comfortable. I know the pocket is getting pushed back but I didn't know that Grubbs graded out that well.

Re: What happened to Carl Nicks?
I just want to know if you guys saw Hicks vs Nicks...
Hicks killed him. I have re-watched the game twice and when Hicks was in there he dominated the line and dominated Nicks. I thought Hicks was going to be good at some point but the guy is awesome now and needs to be the starter. |

I have never seen the OL rate less that #5 sense 2006 and its true that Brees has a lot to do with that, but we are #20 at the run and #10 at pass protection. FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2012 OFFENSIVE LINES and that is completely unacceptable to drop so low so fast. I mean its easy to see why GB is struggling to at #28. If we cant change the defense, and have to live with it, then we better damn sight fix the OL problems or we are going no where. |
