4. New Orleans
PB = 6th, RB = 6th, PEN = 4th They’ve lost Carl Nicks and Jermon Bushrod started the season playing like a man who hated Drew Brees. But though it’s taken time they’ve found their rhythm recently and it’s coincided with some wins. (PB = Pass Block rank, RB = Run & Screen Block rank, PEN = Penalty rank) Profootball Focus |

Re: Profootball Focus: OL rankings
I am disappoint. Was interested to see the response to these rankings from the people who chart every snap. |

I knew they had improved since the start of the season, had no idea they were that good though!

Re: Profootball Focus: OL rankings
Run blocking includes screens, and we have a ton of yardage from screens.

Re: Profootball Focus: OL rankings
In our offense, ever since Payton has been here(especially w/ Reggie), a few of us here considered swing and screen passes as an extension of the running game.

Re: Profootball Focus: OL rankings
Screens are skewing that stat heavily for us. On pure rushing there is no stat that puts us in the top 24.... except for exp.

Re: Profootball Focus: OL rankings
Agreed. I still don't rank them that high though. Drew's pocket presence and quick release buys them 5 spots in my mind.
