this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm glad Graham didn't dunk. The picture they have of Matt Ryan on the screen right now makes him look like a drunk homeless dude....

Re: Saints vs Broncos (Official) Game Day Thread
it's disgusting how you see so many fair weather fans on here, good grief!
denver is a tough team and we didn't play very well, but this is a game that, even if we had payton we might not have won..many factors could contribute to this loss but i'm not shocked and no one else should be after manning mangled the chargers last week. hopefully vitt cracks the whip hard this week and we come out and smash philly. keep your heads up Who Dats! |

Re: Saints vs Broncos (Official) Game Day Thread
Manning shredded us...he really didnt have to do too much, though. Gave up 225 yards on the ground.
Oh, and that commitment to the run game for us? 16 carries/52 yards/3.3 per carry. You can argue that we got behind and had to throw, but did we really run all that much when it was close? And did anyone else catch the "Pass-run-pass-punt" repeating sequence there for a while during that stretch when the game was kinda "close". That's what I saw for more than I'd care to see tonight. |

We completely sucked in this game. Both sides were god awful.
There's nothing good to take from this game. Hated it. |

My awards go to:
Defense - Hicks Offense - Uhhh...tie between Sproles & PT? Spec Teams - Morstead Week 8 Saints MVP - Morstead (yes, in the thin air, but still...) 46.6 NET & 51.6 average yards punting. He certainly will have a sore foot tomorrow. Sad game when the punter is the superstar. |

lololololol
records aren't a great leg to stand on when evaluating a team overall, the bears are 6-1 and the packers are 5-3...you would be a fool to say that the bears are better than the packers. just ask if you want any more examples of how records can be misleading... |
