this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Apparently that is the minimum QB rating that Brees can have and the Saints eke out a win in spite of this record setting pile of futility called a defense....

Re: 110.4
Aside from the TD passing thing, Brees also had a streak of something like eleventy billion games in a row with 250+ or 300+ yards passing, I think going back to like the Carolina game in '09 when he was benched. It sucks that it had to be last night but all records/streaks have to end sometime. He is nowhere near the MVP right now
8 punts by the Saints and 5 by the Broncos, Saints lose by 3 scores (21 points). Pretty simple, really. With no D to speak of, the offense has to score 7 EVERY TIME or else there's no hope -- games will be over in the 2nd quarter, as soon as we punt the ball one more time than the other team, we're done. Why do we even bother to punt the ball at all, should be just going for it on 4th, every time, even on our own 25. |

Re: 110.4
I don't understand why we ran that fricking Super Bowl two point conversion play on 3rd and 2, our running game was getting going and believe it or not Ingram had a couple of 4 yard runs and PT was being his normal beastly self
As soon as lance ran the double motion, I said to myself roll out pass to Moore in the flat If I called the play before it happened, Denver obviously knew what it was because they been watching tape on us all week Offense was really bad But defense, if we pin our opponents inside there own 10 yard line 4 times, and the defense still gives up 38 points, DC should be fired on the spot Broncos had drives of - 98 yards, 96 yards, 93 yards and all ended with TD's |

Wrong side of the ball but you remember every play in a Super Bowl that you play in. Porter could have probably laid out our game plan for Denver |
