Have dealt with e-mail evidence in a courtroom (DOJ, FINRA, & SEC) and there are only 1-2 formats that are acceptable due to possible tampering. Ginsberg specified correctly in requests there is no way the league could remove any response to Cerillo. That one reference is something that is going to come up later.
If the league doesn't provide or have the messages in the correct format for the court they can and will get thrown out as evidence for/against the players.
There are too many forensic investigators that could tear anything in the incorrect format to peices and leave the attnys standing there with their mouth open...
If this gets into the courtroom - I have to buy a ticket...
Same here. Run infrastructure for 3 state & local government agencies and email archive requests can blow a house of cards down in seconds.
I've seen public records requests for emails shatter careers, put people in jail and end marriages.
This email is a teaser - the response to the email from the NFL to Cerullo probably exonerates Vilma and collapses the bubble around the NFL.
