Live replay in the Dome

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Who's running this, Roger Goodell? I have never been this frustrated at a live game for lack of replay on crucial plays. It was absolutely non-existent. Alaska in NOLA...

Re: Live replay in the Dome

The replay stuff has sucked all year, and part of last year as well. I suspect the people running the booth in the Dome are all holdovers from the 1970s or '80s. and have not progressed with the technology and the game, and have no clue what to do. Seems like they can barely push a button in there, let alone have a clue what's happening in the game.

They also don't know when to put the "De-Fense! De-Fense! Make Some Noise!" type stuff on the scoreboards. They will do it in the 4th quarter of a 31-14 game that the Saints are winning, but not in a 7 point game on a crucial defensive series with the game on the line. Compared to what they do in other stadiums with other teams, it is a joke how bad it is. .

And one time they ran the stupid dancing McDonald's French Fry thing on the screen, while an opposing player was down on the turf with an injury, writhing around in pain, and it kinda sounded like people in the stands were cheering that he was hurt. The guy was pretty seriously hurt. Not very classy on the part of the Dome screen people.

Re: Live replay in the Dome

I wasn't at the game tonight but usually notice traffic starting for people heading to the Dome and Champion Square to tailgate. Today there was NO traffic. First time in a few years I noticed a slowdown in people heading to the dome.

Do anyone notice the Dome not full at kickoff? Or was TV wrong when they showed the pan shot?

Look at the stands in any NFL game and you will see empty seats.

Re: Live replay in the Dome

I have hated the replays in the dome since I started going in 2006, it seems that they never show a replay of a judgement call when they need to but they will replay something that is obvious or one better (just like at Minute Maid Park) they think that since there is a break, time to play another stupid commercial or some dumb game to keep the sheepople's attention. Trust me I feel your pain

That's because too many seats are bought by people trying to re-sell on Stubb-Hub and ticket exchange instead of selling them to the real fans and when the demand for over price tickets aren't there, there are empty seats. There has been different people at every game that sits behind me and opposing fans I might add and those are season ticket seats.
