Just a question with all the tiebreaking procedures and record holders and who beats who hooplah , are we winning the NFC SOUTH as of right now ?

Doesn't work like that. It does help for tiebreakers etc.
Division lead is also calculated by overall all win/loss, inter-conference wins (NFC or AFC), points allowed per game etc.

See NFC north where the Vikings have a better Division record than the Bears, but the Vikes are also in 3rd place behind the Bears.

Hey, many time, 5 exact, I had wished forn the Saints to have had a W. Getting almost there is still a L.
Today was a W.
Saints:bng: dethroned , deflowered and whatever else the perfect (not so) Atlanta Birdies.
Saints ARE NOT Atlanta Birdies concern. I would hope not! I would think the Altanta Falcons could care less about the Saints winning today. Yes, Saints fans, I would hope. Stop and listen to where I am going with this.
The Altanta Birdies have only one game to play against the Saints, BUT there are
other teams are now looking at Altanta Falcons holes. Altanta's opponents coming have seen today the Saints:jester: break that streak and have taken note as to how they are going to handle Atlanta.

I was unhappy our O didn't put your team away today. It would not have been that hard to do.
But its hilarious to see your the same old can't win the big one failures you always are. Worst D in history, no HC, etc etc..OMG this game was priceless
because it also proved your not going anywhere in the playoffs, LOL

I can see at least 4 losses in that schedule.

Who you beat only matters in tie breaking procedures.... Until then all that matters is total W-L record.

To take the NFC South we would have to win out making us 11-5. And Atlanta would have to lose all but two (or less, for this scenario ill go with 2 wins) making them 10-6.

If win all but one we are 10-6. If that loss is to Atlanta then we have to tie breaking procedures. See sticky I posted for tie breaking procedures.

Division record is one of a very long list of tiebreakers. But tiebreakers only come into play when all preceding ones are tied.

Overall record is the first tiebreaker.

1st tie breaker is head to head. So the Saints and Falcons can finish with the same record and the Saints can win out if the beat them twice.

Hint:
Tiebreaking procedures etc become applicable only when the teams are tied overall.
Rule 1. Check OVERALL records.
