In the spirit of \"you can satisfy all the people...,\" I\'d ask why in the heck was the advanced league\'s draft moved from a good time in July to a date and time that conflicts with the Saints-Packers preseason game? :casstet:

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm? Twernt me boss, but I think it was because some thought it was to early in the preseason for a draft.

I didn\'t mean to imply that there weren\'t good reasons to move it. I just think the date it\'s at now sux. But hey, I waited til the last minute to mention it anyway so that\'s my problem.

This might explain why I have never been in one of these leagues .

Sun night seems optimum for such an event ....

May I suggest that you preset you draft rankings then. At least you\'ll get some of who you want.

Being new to the whole Fantasy Football thing here , I would have thought that the draft was a pretty important part of it , but maybe not . Being that they hold these drafts on Friday nights might explain why I have missed everyone up til now and will miss this one . I mean really now , bieing that this is a football based site and to hold an event that takes away from the one thing that draws all these posters in seems a little strange ....

08 choses reality over Fantasy .....I will let Saintfan finish that thought for me ..... :P

I run a league and I can tell you from experience: the teams owners that don\'t show for the draft rarely do well.

If you can\'t make it, my suggestion is to thoroughly go through your rank lists. Put anyone who you would hate getting WAY down the list. That\'s your best bet. You\'ll get a decent team.
