I have to admit that I am a bit surprised that Harbaugh is going with Kapernick. I get that Kapernick is an exceptional athlete and had an exceptional game against the Bears, but Alex Smith should be the starter. All Alex Smith has done for the past 1 1/2 years is win games. Why is Harbaugh rocking the boat this late in the season, with his team having a nice record, is beyond me. Save the QB controversy for the off season...
Of course, there is the other side. If recent history holds true, Kapernick will have a great game against the Saints, and Harbaugh will look like a genius. |
