Looking like 2009!
In 2009, the Saints beat three teams from New York: Bills, Jets and Giants; 2 AFC teams and 1 NFC team.
This year, the Saints have beaten 2 AFC teams from California, Chargers and Raiders, and play the 40-whiners this weekend, an NFC team. Could history repeat itself? |

Re: Looking like 2009!
This post reminds me of Band of Brothers.. Most of the German troops have surrendered. Easy company reaches Bavaria. A patrol is walking through a Bavarian forest, and one of the guys says: "Hey, doesn't this remind you of Bastogne?" To what another replies: "Yeah, except there's no snow, we have food in our stomachs, and trees aren't ****ing exploding from Kraut artillery, but yeah, other than that, ..." |

Re: Looking like 2009!
No. Our D created much more turnovers and played with fire, now they get a turnover, do a dance and get a penilty!! Big,big differnce to me !! The feeling was in the air in '09.

Re: Looking like 2009!
feels like 2009, except we are doing it the opposite way , losing all at beginning ,lol, and greer out for every game.
If defense really picks up I can see us doing it. No difference losing all at the end or beginning . Just a different way of accomplishing the same thing. |
