Interception #2
1 Attachment(s)
Rule 1 for receivers from High School up... If it hits your hands you better catch it.
The ball is out of Colstons hands before he is hit. That black dot on top of the 0 on the 40 is the ball already out of his hands. He was defenseless but it was not knocked out of his hands. http://nfl.cpl.delvenetworks.com/pla...2087e7fb61ef62 |
Re: Interception #2
Was still a dumb decision by brees to throw it there
If colston makes that catch, fantastic but it's still a dumb decision and colston still lands how he did Two bad decisions by brees gave the 9ers all the momentum |

Re: Interception #2
It amazes me how people are never willing to fault Drew Brees

Re: Interception #2
He is at fault for interception #1..... But I agree with Danno Colston should have caught this ball!!!!

Re: Interception #2
He is at fault for the first.

Both of those picks were on Drew IMO. |
Re: Interception #2
Would have been an incredible catch if he caught it but you don't hang your #1 receiver in the middle of the field like that. Colston is lucky to be walking today. With the pressure the 9ers bring, we should have had some roll out plays for Brees and quick throws.

Re: Interception #2
Well the thing that struck me about it at the time was that, Colston came down and was basically out cold on the turf, giving the Niners an 11 on 10 basketball-style break, going back the other way, with one more player than the Saints had tacklers...that's almost a sure recipe for a pick 6....I think it's quite possible that if Colston hadn't been so badly physically hurt at that moment, he gets up and runs after the guy, and changes the outcome further down the field, with the blocking and the cut move the guy made to get to the end zone and so forth.
