That being said, he's looking for a short term contract with a team that has a shot playing the post season. He's still got a LOT left in the tank and we haven't had a end pass rusher worth his water in a few years... I say, grab him! |

Yes. 3rd in NFL in sacks. No guaranteed money, and he already collected his one time veteran separation pay at Seattle. Bring him in for use on obvious passing downs.
Worst case it doesn't work and you cut him at the end of the year. There is absolutely no downside fir us. He has more pass rush threat on a bad day than most of our players, he is exactly the type of player Spags defense needs. He was cut from Philly as a financial move. The Eagles are clearing money to overhaul in the off season. Def coordinator already gone, Reed will be fine soon, as well as Vick. |
