The New Orleans Saints are cognizant of the situation they have played themselves into. As the 2012 season prepares for its stretch run, the Saints are lumped in with a cluster of teams vying for two of the NFC's wild-card playoff berths.

To stay in that position or improve their standing, the Saints likely will need to win on Thursday night against the 10-1 Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome.

Even faced with such a daunting task of beating the Falcons, who own the NFL's best record, the Saints (5-6) don't appear to be putting too much pressure on themselves. With five games remaining, they are not ready to label the nationally televised game as a "must-win" situation.
