Airport workers reportedly threw eggs at the Saints team bus after landing in Atlanta, according to several members of the Saints.
Jimmy Graham and Chase Daniel were among the players to Tweet about it. While the team already had much of its playoff hopes hinging on the game, this news ensures the Saints won't be short on motivation. Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. Thursday night. Re: Atlanta style...
Dispicable!!!
|
Re: Atlanta style...
They suck...eggs it would appear...
|
Re: Atlanta style...
Airport employees at that. I bet they get paid nicely, and have great benefits too. I hope they lose their jobs.
|
Re: Atlanta style...
Let me put this is terms you can easily understand!!
|
Re: Atlanta style...
Seriously classy... it's funny that they claim over at their boards that people from New Orleans are backward hicks with no manners and then they do something like this! :dunce:
|
Re: Atlanta style...
I have seen much worse at LSU games against their opposing teams. Its all a part of it, doesn't bother me. Anyway, I hope Harper brings the ****ing wood. This is going to be a physical game. Is it on local TV or only NFL net?
|
Re: Atlanta style...
When they say "airport workers" or these those TSA agents in Atlanta who be taking people's wallets and watches when they check-in for flights?!?
...now if they steal our playbooks...on second thought, it wouldn't matter 'cause those 'tards wouldn't be able to decipher it anyways... ...they sure haven't figured out how to stop us 2006 A.P. |
Re: Atlanta style...
I'm sure most of them got more zip on their throws than noodle arm Matt Ryan could.

You're supposed to overreact and go ballistic pretending that this egging is sole justification for acting like a total douche and trolling other forums (like fans from other unnamed teams do) ;) ;) |
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
... you know, you try and give the city of Atlanta the benefit of the doubt and not judge the entire region by it's fans, but what a bunch of simplistic, f@#$%ing morons, ... and airport employees, no less.

Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
The fact that it was ATL workers who were 'on duty' should disturb EVERYONE! Think anyone will get fired for an obvious security breach?
Doubt it.... |
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
There are hungry children in Atlanta, homeless, starving...
And they throw food. It would seem that in Atlanta, the TSA does not do its job and acts of violence are not deemed terrorism. |
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
Throwing bird eggs at the Saints is like Catholics hurling babies at the Buddhists.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
I just hope the players take it personal and rip some skulls open tonight, especially on defense...yuh right, but i can dream, can't i .
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
It could always be worse. In Philly they still heave batteries at their own players.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
We'll just egg their bus when they arrive for the Superbowl. Oh, wait. They won't win their first playoff game.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
^^^ ^^^ ... good one.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
And I thought Atlanta fans had more class than that, LOL. Is that Atlanta's version of Mardi Gras? Everybody knows you throw beer bottles.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
I wonder what the Failcons fan is saying who is cleaning the crap off the busses, since it was probably a charter bus from Atlanta. And ya wonder why Hyena's eat their young.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
All that does is piss the Saints off to where they will kill Atlanta on the field.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
I hope the ATL hotel employees crapped on the Saints beds just to add to the beating.
|
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
Wonder why there have been no pics posted by the players?
I am not saying the players made this up, but pics would definitely prove it happened and put Atlanta in even more of a bad light. |
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
They might need the protein.... mighty nice of them to oblige, restrospectively speaking of course...

Harstfield-Jackson officials investigating egging of Saints team bus
By Christian Boone The Atlanta Journal-Constitution They may be heroes to Falcons fans, but the airline workers who egged the New Orleans Saints team bus Wednesday night are likely to face disciplinary action, according to airport officials. “It has been confirmed that eggs were thrown at a New Orleans Saints’ charter bus as they departed the ramp last night,” Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport spokeswoman Myrna White said in a statement. “Airline workers were in the ramp area. Airport and airline officials are investigating the incident and further information will be forthcoming.” The egging would have flown under the radar had Saints players not tweeted about it. “Wow, as we’re boarding buses on the Tarmac @ Atlanta airport, we start getting eggs thrown @ us by airport workers!” wrote reserve quarterback Chase Daniel. “Guess they do hate us! I’m such a little baby.” He said it. Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was a bit less charitable, tweeting: “Bus just got egged after landing in ATL by the ramp workers. Classy! “RISE Up” smh.” White said Hartsfield-Jackson general manager Louis Miller will be meeting with the workers suspected in the egging. “Disciplinary action will be taken,” she said. Meanwhile, the as-yet unnamed workers have succeeded in ramping up what is already one of football’s nastiest, albeit underrated, rivalries. “Now while I certainly don’t condone these kind of shenanigans, I would like to say that it was nice to see some passion from this city’s fans,” wrote Tim Shepard on Blogging Dirty, a Falcons fan blog. “I guess if you’re going to be labeled as ‘classless,’ you may as well act the part.” The Falcons will seek to avenge their only loss of the season Thursday night at the Georgia Dome. A Saints loss, meanwhile, would put a damper on New Orleans’ playoff hopes. Win or lose, the Saints should remain egg-free on their way back to the Big Easy. White said Atlanta police will augment the airport security when the team departs from Hartsfield-Jackson Harstfield-Jackson officials investigating egging of Saints... | www.ajc.com |
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
Eggs though? I mean what purpose does that serve? You're throwing eggs at a bus that your own people own and have to clean up? AND its Airport employees doing it from the tarmac (sp) which I would think can be a major violation when it comes to the rules of their jobs. How stupid is that? Falcons fans are so stupid they can't even pull a prank that actually makes sense.

The question remains: How do you get eggs through airport security?

"Roger Goodell farms" So now how do you think they got through? |
Re: Atlanta style: SAINTS BUS EGGED AT ATLANTA AIRPORT
Exactly what I brought up earlier about the TSA....
Liquids sneaked in, in egg shells. Violence against traveling passengers. Officials investigating? I want DHS brought in. Seal Team Six needs to forcibly extract each of them from their homes in the night and they need to go directly to Getmo. Once there Morstead will kick each of them in the nuts 20 times, or until they confess on paper that they are a secret cell sent by Goodell. When they are done, beat them with a Houston phone book for an hour each, while playing Lady Gaga "Poker Face" on a loud speaker, forcing them to stare at naked pictures of Justin Bieber. |
