Re: New Jump on the Brees Fault Bandwagon
that was the worst performance i seen from Brees but I still want him on our team. Defense played a helluva game in the second half. Did anyone notice the defense stepped up when Vilma was replace by Jonathan Casillas & Ellis replaced by AKIEM HICKS? just saying cuz i seen a lot of times Vilma couldn't get off his block to make the tackle or he will miss entirely. Hicks was just dominating the middle. I am not saying make them starter.
Pierre Thomas stepped up but idk what happen to Ivory, for once Ingram outplayed him. I am not blamming him for that poorly thrown ball by Brees but I know PT would've caught it |

Live by the sword, die by the sword.
His goods FAR out weigh his bads, by a long shot. Even with these past two weeks on the tray, the scale hasn't moved. It's just so UGLY to watch. Be honest - we've won a bunch of UGLY ones too. He's still my horse for next weeks race. |

Re: New Jump on the Brees Fault Bandwagon
I am realistic.
Brews was worth the money for services rendered. Ok. I feel , because every team has to rebuild and no player stays on top forever, a two year great contract would have better than four. Brees has a good two years, maybe three left. This year is a lost all the way around. YES, he had two awful games . Unlike him at all points. Acting like a rookie. A newbie. STILL, still, he is an elite qb. He has reached that level. Still, he has been a team leader and NFL players' union leader. YES, he did more than enough to lose these last two games. Saints for this year: DB losing these past two games. Defense early on missing tackles. No head coach and the head coach. Missing coaching for half the year-Vitt. New coach on staff-Spanola Brees mssing camp time. Vilma out first half of season. He is a team leader and just brings that something extra in smarts, leadership, enforces what Sean Payton says do. Did I say, that man, the leader of the players and coaching staff is not there? Remember when he was out that one game, I think it was one game from not being on the sidelines when his leg was broken. Remember. Totally different team out there without the MAN being on the sidelines running his players his coaches. 2012 is what is was and was set to be per Goodell and it is not over yet. Best that happen and what I hope to see is 8-8 ending. Forget 2012 Saints' year. That would be GREAT under these circumstances. I was hoping for 9-7 or 8-8 when the Saints made it too 5-5. Realistically, 8-8, no WC playoff , would be great! Lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater, no. |

Re: New Jump on the Brees Fault Bandwagon
I believe he put too much pressure on himself.
Off subject. I'm wondering why we didn't run the ball after we scored 3 in the second half. That's when he threw the 3rd interception. |
