this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Atlanta fan, I don't see where the confusion lies? This seems like normal behavior from them. The surprising thing to me is the fact you are surprised by the behavior. That said, I certainly understand we all have moments we ...

Atlanta fan, I don't see where the confusion lies? This seems like normal behavior from them. The surprising thing to me is the fact you are surprised by the behavior. That said, I certainly understand we all have moments we are caught off gaurd, so I too would have helped bail you out of jail.

Thanks ya'll. However had my girl not come back in the bar to get me I may have taken up the offers for bail money. LOL

Bad fans are part of every team's fan base. Never worth to get in a fight over a sporting event. Most of the players really don't take it personal; why should fans?

I went back after my girl left the bar and congratulated him again on a good win when the game was over. He in turn rubbed it in my face.
I had enough and told him that he would watch his team lose in the first round of the playoffs like they do when they get there. He continued to mouth off and I gave him the choice again of showing some class or backing it up.(what was I thinking?)
I finally told him that he represented his fan base well......just like an ass hole. He would not stand up and back up his team. I was fully prepared to go to jail. If he was going to continue to run his mouth there would be blood running out of it. He of course was a coward and would not back up his mouth. My girl back and kept me from putting a hurting on him.
God, I am so pissed. I won't sleep at all tonight.

Players don't take it personal because it's their job and get paid to play and may be on a different team next year. As fans, we live and breath Saints everyday for 50 plus years if we're lucky, of course we will take it personal! Your team wins and mine loses that's fine but don't be a smart azz about it!
You get in my face too much there will be a problem!

So true, but some teams seem to have a noticeably larger and more obnoxious contingent of 'bad fans' then others, eh?

Re: Mouthy and cowardly Failcons fans

Some men (loosely utilized) have to be taught then re-taught how to act like a man. Sometimes only a beatdown will accomplish that. Cocky jerks ALWAYS need reminding that they are just like everyone else, just having a special day.

Sometimes a special day includes a knuckle sandwich.

Remember, there are taunting laws in most states. If you ask the jerk to stop taunting you and he persists, then tell him what level you're willing to stop beating him at and it that doesn't do it, and he has fair warning...

TAKE HIM TO THAT LEVEL AND DROP HIM OFF.

LOL
