1. Clock management. Professional athletes cannot make mistakes like that, period. No discussion. That series would've changed the momentum of the game, same as in the 9ers first-half ending. Trying to force and playing too fast and loose. Undisciplined football at its finest.

2. Pete Carmichael. Stick a fork in him, he has been outed as an untrustworthy substitute for the real thing. As soon as something started working for us, we got away from it. When Brees started throwing picks, we started dialing up more pass plays. SMH

3. The defense held the clowns to 9 points after the first quarter. NINE POINTS. One field goal for every quarter, and our offense can't find a way to even break twenty. Michael Strahan was right, it took until about Week 10 for things to click, and now that they have, our legendary offense only manages to produce a high-pitched fart. And five interceptions.

*deep breath in and out* Okay, thanks. I feel better now. Not really, but, well, you know.

It's a BIG IF but if Drew can get his head cleared and plays like we know he can, and with the defense starting to play pretty good we could win out and finish 9-7. At 9-7, I believe we make it as a wildcard. All we need is Seattle to lose 2 and they play Bears & Niners plus could drop a game in Buffalo. Bucs to lose 2 and they play Broncos, Us and Falcons.
Skins to lose 3 and they have Giants, Ravens & Cowboys.
Besides us having to win out, the toughest part of this to happen would be pulling for the Cowboys to beat the Skins in the last game. We would win all tie breakers except for with the Skins so they need to have 1 more loss than us. Keep the faith. I still believe!

It will hurt if Atlanta makes the playoffs four straight years. I just know Buffalo, Miami, San Francisco, jets, Seattle will give them wins and TB and Carolina don't care about beating them more than us.

I hope, that after this Bounty crap is over, a reporter somewhere, asks Goodell, "Was it worth it?"

Was ruining one football team's season over a knee-jerk reaction to something EVERY team in the league does, worth costing one head coach a year's salary, (and possibly being the straw that broke the back on his marriage), tarnishing the reputation of 3 coaches, one general manager, 4 football players and an NFL team and city, worth what you got in return?

We now have players openly admitting that if they have a concussion, which is one of the things we were told they were trying to prevent, they would not report it.

IMO, the Saints 2012 season SHOULD have asterisk by it, with an explanation how they were hamstrung by the league!
