Now, on a non football related matter. My wife is driving this 95 Accord that I took in for the 120k service the other day and the dealer wants to do $1500 worth of work on the car. I figured the car isn't worth that, so I started looking for a new one. The entire process has sucked the life out of me to the degree that I think I'm going to call Monday and have them fix the friggin thing just to avoid dealing with it.

Good idea or no? Please explain.

Most dealerships would only give you 500.00 for it anyway in trade. How the transmissions and engine overall? Here\'s the breakdown:

Keep the car:
1500.00 repair bill
no monthly payment
only liability insurance, pretty cheap
Total outlay = $1,500.00

Trade for a new one:
500.00 is all you will get for a car with 120k miles, especially with repair problems.
300.00 to 400.00 car payment monthly
full coverage required, not cheap
total outlay = $$$$$$ lots of money

I think ya see where I went with this one. Fix the car. Good idea!!!
