The Redskins still have Baltimore, and two division rivals. Two losses and we pass them. And the Skins are only one game behind the Giants so its possible we'd be competing with the Giants for #6, and we still play them. The Giants still have @ Atlanta, @ Baltimore and New Orleans. Two Giant losses and we pass them. Seattle still has @ Buffalo and THREE games against their own division, so two losses and we pass them. Minnesota still has Green Bay, AT Houston, Chicago and @ St Louis, so two losses and we pass them. So hell yes I think we are definitely still in it and don't wanna hear any crap about about us being out of it until we are mathematically eliminated. |

Question: Did you stop watching after the Panthers game because no team that has ever lost their last three games has ever won the Super Bowl.

Did you see the Saints be forced to play a season without their head coach? |

Re: Ok assume we hit 7-9 or 8-8
Its a home game for Buffalo. Seattle has only won 2 of their 7 Away games this season, and could lose both of their corners to 4 game suspensions.
Cardinals, Rams, and 49ers have already beaten them... Its not too far of a reach to say Seattle could lose out. |

Re: Ok assume we hit 7-9 or 8-8
Glad to see this thread went essentially from who do you guys want us to draft to a 'how dare you doubt the Saints, they'll make the playoffs'. I love how one person starts that in a thread and then everyone else jumps in.
To play devils advocate for the OP, just as all of us would love to see the saints make the playoffs, however it is not a likely scenario. Based on this the OP wants to know who you think we take in the draft. So, to getting back on track with the original post... We are set at LB in my opinion. Lofton is a stud MLB, Hawthorn is great playing the SAM and from what I saw in the pre-season Chamberlain is good at WILL, and if he isn't able to recover Casillas is still around. I think we go DT in the draft because we will lose Ellis ( I hope). SHELDON RICHARDSON at DT would be a good pick up or Johnathan Jenkins. Either one would be great next to Hicks and would provide a great run stopping force with the ability to collapse the pocket. |
