With the rookie cap you better not draft a Heisman unless you are with in two seasons of him Starting.

If not you'll just be prepping him to start for another team on his second but huge contract.

I predicted in the 3rd year of brees 5 year contract we'd draft his successor

I'm now predicting it will be sooner

Jimmy graham is having a terrible season also

Pointless thread in my opinion, though the kid is good, he's young and I don't think he fits Coach P's idea of a QB. If Coach leaves then all things are on the table.

The last thing we need is a player who is going to sit on the bench for 2 seasons before starting. Much less for Drew Brees.

The Mark Ingram trade we don't have a player on the field full time. Instead we have a part time player. We cannot afford to do this at this time in Drew Brees's career.

What we need is a full time starter and a difference maker. Since we seem to get a lot of our offense players very quickly..

Johnny Football isn't eligible to be drafted for another 2 years. This conversation is moot.

Brees is simply having a bad stretch of games. I still consider him top 5 and I think he explodes next year if Payton returns.

Become a run first team to take some pressure off brees, Ingram and PT have shown they can handle it, Ingram has had some good games recently
