What it's going to take to beat the Giants
Passing the ball like crazy again is not what we need. This is the thought process that has gotten us beat all year long. We need to run the ball 44 to 49% of this game. We need to do it without telegraphing it as much as possible. We need to try a reverse early in the game to get them looking for it, Drew needs to get back to being accurate with the ball and maintaining ball security. Try hitting someone in stride for a change. The O-line needs to keep the D-linemen's hands down on passing plays.
Defensively, we need to see more checks by the defense. We need to see better tackling and some violence. We need our D-line to get a pass rush which we might see, now that Galette is back, and we need to have containment on the corners. We also need to start catching the ball in the back end of our defense. Players like Roman "Hands of Stone" Harper, Jabari "Oopsi" Greer and Patrick "Where did he go?" Robinson. And we need to see some tipped balls and fumbles caused and recovered by the LB corps. I think that about sums it up. |

It's going to be a MISERABLE day in the Meadowlands. Cold, wet, windy.
whoever holds onto the ball most will win, and whoever holds onto the ball last will definitely win. |

Well, if that's the case we need to run the ball effectively and eliminate turn overs. I agree 100% about the tackling on defense....it's got to be better.
