Needs to go!
Sed Ellis. For the love of God I'm tired of seeing him. Hicks is already a proven player.
Will Smith. First off I don't think he sucks as bad as some ppl on here. He was great in '07-'09 had a below average '10 season. But he's getting old and has lost a step IMO Bunkley. With the presence of Hicks and Johnson in the middle no need for him. Both Hicks and Johnson have proved they can get pressure. (But I'd be willing to give Bunkley another year given he plays beside Hicks) remember in Denver he had Dummerville and Miller. Greer. Was a beast when we got him from Buffalo. No hard feelings but he's lost a step with age and injury. Vilma. Same as Greer. Hawthorne. I would be ok with giving him one more year. Cassillas. Has proven he could rush the passer. But he may get the boot. Harper. Never have been impressed with him. Unless he rushes the passer. But we need a true safety. I think we should cut ties with him. Jenkins. I'm not ready to give up on him yet. I see "potential" but I'm getting tired of his lack of tackling skills. Cadet. Time for another return guy. Smh. Maybe Roby again. Ingram/Ivory. Wow this is a tough tough call. I have a feeling one will be gone. If I had to guess I'd say Ivory. Only because of where we picked Ingram at in the draft and I believe he gets more touches next season. Leaving Thomas and Ingram all the touches. (Just gotta squeez Sproles in) O line. The only weekness I really see is streif mainly and bushrod at times. But I'm scared of our backup O linemen. So idk. Henderson. Has been average at best ever since we drafted him. He's shown flashes of good plays but once again has lost a step with age. No hard feelings. That's about it. Feel free to voice your opinion. |

Re: Needs to go!
Sed Ellis was a good pick on paper. I don't understand how one of the strongest men in the NLF can have such a lackluster career. Dude can bench well over 500lbs. Even Glen Dorsey who went before him doesn't even play DT anymore. The 2008 draft was the year of the DT busts.

Re: Needs to go!
I think Will Smith sticks around at a much cheaper price, Spags has him playing somewhat decently... Ellis on the other hand has made no such improvement...

Re: Needs to go!
That's why I listed him first. Lol but with the emergence of Tez Wilson and Gallett it may be time to let Smith go. Also we have a prayer of hopes that Romeous stays healthy. And can shine next season.

Ingram/Ivory, will probably be Ivory. Especially since the injury bug has got him again. Staying healthy has always been his downfall.

Re: Needs to go!
i'd like to see Vilma stay for some vet experience/what would we replace him with, Shanle?
If we could get a solid coverage safety (like Sharper was) I would want to see Jenkins moved back to corner. I'm sure Ellis will go, same with Greer. I think Ivory is gone just because Ingram has the pedigree included with being a 1st round pick. |

Re: Needs to go!
I'm really liking Quddus at safety. Harper is the defensive leader in solo tackles so I don't mind him hanging around 1 more year. Ellis is gone and Johnson can't stay healthy. Will Smith stays if he restructures his contract.
We need healthy LB's and I want to see what we do in Spags second year. |

But he's lost about 2 steps in his age. And it wouldn't surprise me if we got CJ Mosely in the first round. We need speed and strength.
