Stephen A. Smith makes public apology to Jonathan Vilma

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Well, although he's a puppet and a tool, kudos to him for the apology. whether it was sincere, or just babble who really knows. Don't think I've ever seen Bayless speechless for 4 minutes before....

I watched it but I couldn't stop looking st Bayless' stupid looking raised brow, pursed lip, "matter of fact" face. It's like he's attempting to look really intellectual and wise. They're both morons. Thanks for the apology Stephen. Now go back to talking about basketball, which is the only sport you really know anything about.

That crap reminded me why I quit watching that garbage when the "bounty" finding first came out in the first place, its gotten to where I can only watch BSPN during games but that has even been difficult lately

Remember, 1st take wouldn't give credit to the Saints as a "contender" in 2009 until most of the way through the season. That show is a lot of noise and I hate it.

Because he has NO CLASS! He also came out and stated that he disagreed with Tagliabue's decision but would respect it.

He's got some character for apologising like that

The only reason he's apologising anyway is because he got it so wrong the first time that he's dug himself a hole that only a public apology would solve

CEO posturing... Nothing more, nothing less. Towing the line, has nothing to do with character. I figured everyone knew the assumption is that a CEO made it there in the backs of working people, taking credit for their hard work..... Thus CEO = No character

ESPIN just trying to save face for all the "evidence" they released prematurely. I love it when people say " i have nothing to say but"... then go on for 20 minutes lol

BTW... Whats a recket?

Vilma tweeted about this

Jonathan Vilma ‏@JonVilma51

I respect stephen a smith for publicly apologizing. Takes a real man to do what he did. Apology accepted. Thank you Stephen @stephenasmith

He's been very quiet on anything bounty related in a long time - I would love for him to win big in his defamation suit. I imagine the NFL is working hard to try and make it go away.

Shocking. He's still a douchecanoe. He and his butt-buddy Bayless.
