Bengals release Jason Allen
Allen, 29, signed with the Bengals as a free agent after playing six years with Miami and Houston. He was the 16th overall pick by Miami in the 2006 draft. He missed the preseason and the first two games of the season because of an injured thigh. He played in a 38-31 win over Washington, getting a pair of tackles, then was inactive for the next nine games due in part to the thigh injury. He also missed the final game of the regular season and a first-round playoff loss to Houston. Cincinnati Bengals cut Jason Allen, host Karlos Dansby on visit - ESPN FS/CB coming out of college and might be a cheap one year pick up |

So while we were signing Jason Smith, Ozzie was stealing McClain?!?
Nice work, Loomis... Ravens take minimal risk with McClain | ProFootballTalk |

It works both ways but makes little sense. Both players have been bust so far. With that said, I would have loved to have gotten McClain down here for a visit. McClain's road to a possible starting job was much better in Baltimore with their vacancies at the LB position. It would make much more sense for him to go there then take less money and have a harder time competing for a job here. Nothing was stolen from us. It was never ours to begin with. Please don't use McClain to further your anti-Loomis agenda. It's getting old. We get it, you don't like Loomis. He sucks. |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |
