Re: The Perfect New Orleans Saints Team

It was once rumoured Matt Millen (Det) used Madden as his sole means of evaluating NFL talent ... just sayin' ... doesn't always translate into real life, eh?

Might be fun to play around with though ... I'm gonna' have to ask my son if he's got that and get me one for Christmas if he don't, .

An understatement Slo'

Or maybe Millen didn't understand the information.

Madden is really a poor game when it comes to translating it into the real deal.

My personal experience of playing Madden through the years, especially the last decade, their is just nothing unique about any of the players, like every damn one of them is the same, even ones on different teams, like I could go play a franchise mode with say............ Dallas on All Pro or Madden, I could have Romo put up like 40 TDs and 10 int in a season, substitute Darmarcus Ware for say........ any scrub 3 string DE, and still get as many sacks throughout the season.

So you see just how unrealistic it is, ive played various teams on madden games and the QBs dont matter none either, if it be Ryan Leaf or Joe Montana.

Oh, sounds like I'd lose interest in it pretty quick ... are the fishing games any good? ... not to jack the thread or anything, but while we're on the topic of Madden, .

As far as I know there are no simulations that have a "decided not to show up ready to play" option to factor in.

I do good bit of Fishing, and its probably much more realistic than Madden, even the old Fishing games like Trophy Bass.

Maddens problem I believe is its EA sports doing the work.

Don't play Madden, but thinking of Reggie, does Madden have injuries that bench players unexpectedly?

A 200 pound OLB? Thats not gonna work.

Vilma at SLB?

We'd get beat by an average of 20 points per game, mostly by running toward our weakside.
