I agree with you about it only being preseason. But, I do think you can learn things about individual players. But as far as the \"team concept\" goes, I don\'t pay a lot of attention to it. With ONE exception. And that\'s the 3rd preseason game. There\'s some game planning that goes on in the 3rd preseason game and that is the tune-up game for the regular season.
This next preseason game should provide a more clear picture of the progress that\'s been made. With that said, the coaching staff still isn\'t going to give away a lot of the things we will see in the season opener. I don\'t expect Venturi to give away what our blitz packages will be. And I don\'t blame him. When the regular season gets here, the intensity level will be turned up a notch. Things will be much different from a game planning stand-point and the starters will be on the filed for the entire game. It changes the whole complexity of the game. Overall, I\'ve been impressed from what I\'ve seen on the defense. I suppose that\'s about all I can ask? Just how much that means, I have no idea. I\'ve got to see this team do it when the real bullets start to fly. No matter what happens in preseason -- good or bad -- I\'m not buying into this preseason stuff. |

Chandlers looking like the starter and Bulger was terrible. The Rams are going to be lucky to get over 150 yards total offense. Either they have gotten alot worse on offense or KC is alot better on D. I know it\'s just preseason, but if this game is any indication the Rams will have a long year, also lost Fisher CB with a broken arm.
