Re: Saints ranked 2nd in dropped passes
Payton will get this sorted
Now everyone can get focused and not have to coach two positions at once e.g vitt head coaching and coaching LB's at the same time |

Dang... Brees might have had 6000 yards then... And we'd be in the playoffs.

Re: Saints ranked 2nd in dropped passes
With Payton I think the worst we'd have done in the 1st 4 games is 2-2, which would put us at 9-6 right now and a favorite for a wildcard spot, even with the bad play from our defense.

I'll raise you at least one in suggesting we only lose 5 games max, which puts us in a playoff scenario whereby no one really wants to play us.

Re: Saints ranked 2nd in dropped passes
What a horrible layout for that web page. Yuck.
As bad as our defense is this year the dropped passes may have hurt us more. We've never really counted on our defense to win games for us because our O is so dominant. When our receivers start dropping crucial passes it's almost impossible for us to overcome. What's even worse is when they tip the ball into the opponents hands. |
