Saints will use 3-4 defense this year.
Reported on WWL tonight that the Saints will occasionally use a 3-4 allignment in an effort to find more ways to get Will Smith on the field.
Darren Howard and Charles Grant would be the DE's. Brian Young at NT. Courtney Watson and Derrick Rodgers at ILB's. James Allen and Will Smith at OLB's They made it clear we are not shifting to a bse 3-4 defense, but just an occasional defensive allignment to get Will Smith on the field more. |
