Re: For 2 weeks only, we root for the packers
I don't see it as rooting for Seattle, more like I want to see Atlanta loose so bad and that's the team they are playing. Honestly besides pulling against the Texans none of the other 3 games really kept my interest for all that long

Peyton Manning - that's who I'm pulling for...
...now, if the Pats get in, then I'm pulling out my 70s/80s Patriots Jersey/Hat (what would be referred to as 'throwback' in modern vernacular as opposed to those awful USPS Jerseys and Helmets they wear today)... This has been one of the worse years in NFL Playoffs for me; the only thing that could have made it worse would be if both the NY teams got in (though I pull for Eli) and Jerry's Kids in Dallas; the Minnesota Frauds; ... This will be schadenfreude playoffs, taking pleasure as nearly every team I hate is in the playoffs and they get knocked off... The Hate Priority List Atlanta San Francisco Baltimore Seattle Green Bay Denver was granted an exemption because of Peyton Manning, otherwise they would have made the list... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: For 2 weeks only, we root for the packers
I can only see Green Bay, Denver, New England, San Francisco winning it all with the slight possibility it could be that other team. Seattle does not have the same players as 05, just the fans. There is no way a rookie though is winning a sb. And I think Atlanta will beat them unfortunately. We're going to get a scare I mean what would be the story of our season if two teams we don't mind winning played in the sb? The NFL is always going to have drama to it, just like 07 when Miami fans needed a miracle for NE to not 19-0, or when Brady went to sb in Manning's absent year and lost the sb to his brother. No, I believe there is gonna be a scare.

And were jobbed by the refs in the Pittsburgh Superbowl, 2008?
They're my NFC favorite with the Packers a very close second. In the AFC its Houston (since I lived there during the Moon era), and anybody that beats the Ravens and Ray Lewis. |

Re: For 2 weeks only, we root for the packers
I will go with Russell Wilson and the Hawks over Atlanta (of course) a little tired of the Packers. Wouldn't mind Wade's Texans taking the AFC. Agree with Danno can't wait until Lewis is gone. There is so much more to Ray Ray's dark past that people don't even know about. Yet the NFL prompts him up like a Poster Child. He makes TO and Pacman look like Pikers.
But whatever happens The Dirty Birds need to go down in a blowout game. |

I'm not a Seahawks fan, I'm a Saints fan. Do you mind if I get my picture taken with you?" Kind of a cooky greeting but he was very cordial.
After the pictures I asked him which team he wanted to win in the Superbowl that year. His response was, "Arizona. One hundred percent." The Seahawks are in the same division as the Cardinals so I found that really interesting. He made me hate the Seahawks a little less that day. |

Re: For 2 weeks only, we root for the packers
Doesn't cost me any time or worry to hate the Falcons. Almost universally we all do so nothing would make me happier than that first game loss. Other wise it may be enjoyable to see them come here and get stomped.
