Ingram is a good RB but not if he's in there for the exact same play over and over. He was outstanding at screens in college. I don't get why coaches fail to utilize what a player does best. Instead, they try and fit them into a mold they want and it never works. He's not a bruiser but that's exactly how they were using him early on. He can do that from time to time but get him a little space now and then.
I really thought this was going to be the strength of the team this year year..an army solid RB's and it was, it just took a whole season to realize that we can run the ball effectively if you mix it up. |
