Re: My dream draft 3.0
Where do y'all think Jessie Williams will go. He would be a beast in the middle
|
Re: My dream draft 3.0
End of 1st top of 2nd. I. Could see a trade with the Ravens. They jump up to #15 to pick Mantis Teo. We drop down to 32 Pick Okefor and pick up a 2nd and a 3rd plus a future 3.
#64 we Pick T . Jefferson S #75 Brandon Williams DT #94 Johnathan. Cyprien S #106 Brandon Jenkins DE #137 Kyle Long OT #170 David Bass. DE #201 Travis Kelce TE I used DraftTek and Walter foot ball to get an idea where these players would possibly fall in the draft. |
Re: My dream draft 3.0
I didn't. Adress CB Damnation.!!! So instead of S at#94 I gamble on greatness boom or bust Honey Badger????
|
Re: My dream draft 3.0
Replace Jefferson with Arthur Brown and that would be a real nice draft
|

How about a K or a LS? ;-) |
Re: My dream draft 3.0

LS isn't really a position is it? It ranks right up there with Punter as far as importance goes. |

I guess you could tell that I was only joking with you..? :-) Although, for example, Drescher is listed on the Saints' official roster as playing the position of LS - not OC, OG or OT. |

I have no problems drafting Punters either if you have extra picks, like every team in the last 20 years has done except one. ;) |

My dream draft 5.0
Jarvis Jones. Rush LB
Brandon Williams NT Seam Porter OLB Micah Hyde CB Tyraun Matthieu CB |
Re: My dream draft 5.0
You should start linking or giving a little feedback on the names you throw out there when you do one of these. Otherwise, it's just looks like a bunch of names you just threw together.
|
Re: My dream draft 5.0
I have a feeling Tyrann Matthieu is going to go higher than the 7th round... Not really sure why but some team will take a chance on him. And God knows I hope Brandon Williams can be there for us in the 3rd round!

Re: My dream draft 5.0
Where is 4.0 and 3.0?

Wouldn't mind seeing close that draft either.I don't see Hunt getting out of round 2 personally.I think he will have a big weekend at the combine and will go pretty early
|
Re: My dream draft 5.0
1st. Ziggy Ansah (IMO he will be a beast and better then Jarvis)
3rd. Arthur Brown (a bit under sized but so was Sam Mills) 4th. Kwame Geathers ( BIG BOY!!! And played well when he came in.) 5th. JJ Wilcox ss (Had a good senior bowl weekend probably won't be here in the 5th) 6th Dustin Hopkins K (probably not a popular pick here but Hartley is too inconsistent) |

My Dream Draft 6.0
1st rd Jarvis Jones best defensive player in SEC
Alternate. Star Lotuleilei maybe the best player in the draft 3rd rd Marcus Hunt DE physical. FREAK Raw Alternate. BRANDON WILLIAMS DT Phillip Thomas S playmaker all around player with wide skillset 4th rd D "RICK. ROGERS WR elite skills, character issues BRANDON JENKINS OLB edge rusher 5th rd DENARD ROBINSON WR/KR gamebreaker athlete worthy project TYRAUN MATTHIEU CB/KR baller 6th rd. SHAMARKO THOMAS. S TERRON ARMESTEAD T Before. I get flamed this is a dream draft a lot of these players will have to fall for this dream to come true. Just remember CAM JORDAN was a top ten pick in most mocks in the year he was drafted, dreams sometimes come true!!! Thoughts, Ideas, Opinions |
Re: My Dream Draft 6.0
Very good mock except for the Denard Robinson pick. Although Id take Star over Jarvis, I don't think Hunt will be there in the 3rd but if he makes it to mid 2nd I wouldn't mind trading up to get him.
|
Re: My Dream Draft 6.0
I like the 1st Rd hate the 3rd rd HUNT is a overrated track star who plays with a high pad level and won't pan out unless miraculous WORK! Yes he's strong but how does his 6ft 8 in frame translate inside! I LOVE THE ALTERNATE Brandon Williams is who they should get if they don't go DT in the 1s rd with Star! Now Jarvis Jones kinda scares me cause he didn't workout and we don't know the medicals yet! We need Corners in Rob Ryan's D So Desmond Trufant in the 1st is a option or Robert Alford in 3rdthe or 4th! THIS YEARS DRAFT IS PERFECT FOR OUR DEFENSE TO GET REBUILT!
|
Re: My Dream Draft 6.0
NOW I LOVE SHAMARKO THOMAS BUT NO WAY HE'S THERE IN 6th RD! i wish but no way we would have to use a 4th atleast He shined to bright @combine but we might get a DJ SWEARANGER fallen or something I love it when the media overrates guys and. They never pan out I mean GM's really are scared to pick unpopular players because if they don't pan out they don't have a Mel Kiper to blame! "MEL KIPER HAS GOT MORE GM's FIRED THAN WALL-MART OR McDONALD'S!
|
Re: My Dream Draft 6.0
I like your draft but I would pick the alternates out side of the first round. We need defense too badly.
|
Re: My Dream Draft 6.0
Very Good.
|
My Dream Draft 7.0
#15 Alec Ogletree LB great athlete. Playmaker big upside Character. Concerns
#75 Margus Hunt DE Freakish size speed RAW huge upside. #106 Blidi Wreh Wilson CB big solid zone corner #137 Montori Hughes NT Talent,Size, Speed character issues #173 Kwame Geatbers NT great size great fit as a34 NT NFL bloodlines Thoughts, Ideas, Options??? |

then you got Jr new contract that pushed me over the edge. I shutter already shutter with Jr, against the run and i am having nightmares of him dropping into coverage. Then i look at ILB and they do not make me feel any better in pass coverage. Matter of fact our LB corp leaves a lot to be desired in that area We need the flexibility Ogletree offers Quote:
Wilson is solid but this area in the draft 3-4 is loaded with so much talent it is a hard call. Quote:

Re: My Dream Draft 7.0
1st rd Kenny Vacarro S
3rd rd Brandon Williams NT 4th rd Tyrann Mathieu CB 5th rd Quanterus Smith OLB 6th rd Josh Boyd DE |

My Dream Draft 8.0
1st rd Star Lotoulelei Aplayer to build the defense around DE and NT
3rd rd Margus Hunt freakish talent size speed, strength raw but huge upside rare athlete. 4th rd Chris Faulk OT road grader run blocker. good pass blocker 5th rd Tyranny Matthieu. ÇB /KR worth the risk Splash playmaker guy is a footballer. 6th rd Kawme GeathersDT rare size good rotational player I used Drafttek mock as a guide to gauge the range that players would possibly fall. |
Re: My Dream Draft 8.0
Hunt more than likely goes a lot sooner than the third round. If we could get him in the third, that would be a steal.
|
Re: My Dream Draft 8.0
WE DON'T NEED TWO DTs and maybe 3 depending on Hunt! I like Hunt more as a developmental Offensive Tackle or a base 4-3 DE! I like Star in rd 1 unless an elite OLB
or DB is rated higher on the board! I HATE TAKING A DT IN RD 1 BECAUSE OF THE HIGH BUST FACTOR! Why because of the high overweight and out of shape risk that leads to injuries. |
Re: My Dream Draft 8.0
I'd love to trade down and get a 2nd round pick, but here's what I'd like if we don't:
Round 1(15)- DL Star Lotulelei Round 3(75)- OLB Jamie Collins (Mayock's 2nd highest rated 3-4 OLB) Round 4(109)- T Jordan Mills Round 5(144)- SS Robert Mills Round 6(183)- CB Tharold Simon Here's what I'd like if we were able to trade down with, say, the Vikings: Round 1(23)- WR Tavon Austin Round 2(52)- DL Jesse Williams Round 3(75)- OLB Jamie Collins Round 4(109)- T Jordan Mills Round 5(144)- SS Robert Mills Round 6(183)- CB Tharold Simon Now, let's get crazy! Trade down with Minnesota and then trade down with the Pats: Round 1(29)- ILB Alec Ogletree Round 2(52)- DL Jesse Williams Round 2(59)- DL Margus Hunt (I'd love to see him stand up also.) Round 3(75)- OLB Jamie Collins Round 4(109)- T Jordan Mills Round 5(144)- SS Robert Mills Round 6(183)- CB Tharold Simon What do you guys think? |
