How confident are you that Brooks can get it done in the passing game and lead this team to the playoffs? We all know the QB can't get a team to the playoffs by himself. He\'s on the the edge of a razor, right now, possibly falling one way or the other. If the criticism is too much for him to bear, then it could have a negative affect. If he can improve on last year, he will shut the critics up. |

Brooks confidence level?
For the first time this season he\'s going to have all of his weapons and more. Deeper receiver corps, deeper at tight end. Strenghtened interior line. And of course the Deuce, the ultimate offensive weapon. RIght now the key thing is for everyone to get to week one healthy. I\'m glad that Brooks is not playing extensive minutes. This is the guy\'s 4th year as a starting NFL QB. He doesn\'t need a whole lot of preseason to get ready. I read in a NOLA.COM article that J.T is going to get some reps with the first team against the Bears. I think this is great. My only hope is that McCarthy doesn\'t go into his three and our turtle shell with all the silly predictable running the ball on 1st and 2nd downs and that absolutely horrid flanker screen that he loves to run. I want to see a scheme that features play action. Put the ball in Deuce\'s belly every play and let the defense try to figure out if he\'s got it. The ultimate shell game. No matter if Deuce or Brooks comes out with the ball, the defense is in trouble. SFIAH |

Brooks confidence level?
Archie brought this up repeatedly in the last game- how strong is J.T.\'s arm? He under-threw several passes in that game. His short game looked great, though, an he looks to be a better option than Bouman.
