Re: Revis available?
No!
He is good but there is no way we can fit him unde rour cap and still have room to make more upgrades that are needed on D. |

Re: Revis available?
Trade him for Harper or Jenkins?!
![]() Naturally you'd have to negotiate a new contract with him, but I guess he'd be willing to perhaps do that. But, no way if the current contract would have to be honored! |

He gets abused several times a game. He's not great at tackling, poor in run support and has lost a step. Plus he's the whiniest pouting greedy biatch prima donna on the Jets, and that's the most coveted designation on that team.

Re: Revis available?
Plus, even the greatest DB in the world isn't worth squat without a defensive scheme that puts him in position to have a chance to make a play. They've gotta stop the defense's bend over and put your thumb up your ass scheme they seemed to like so much last year. Other than every other teams' whipping boy Patrick, it's pretty hard to tell what kind of talent we have in the defensive backfield already. Between the DL going over for take out pizza in the middle of most plays and the DB "cover none" game plan that was very reminiscent of William's "Go anywhere ,but where the ball is" schemes from last year's playoffs, who knows what kind of talent we really have?
I definitely wouldn't trade our first round to anyone for anybody except maybe Watt right now. |
