OK, lets not start glorifying a whistle-blower who jeopardized the team's unity by anonymously crying about his difficulties to the media - that is not a man, that is a coward. :bng: |
Re: Spags Released
I bet there's the most uneasy feeling around the Saints' facility right now...I can just imagine seeing Smith, Ellis, Robinson, Strief and Shanle all lined up outside Payton's office, heads held low...

Re: Spags Released
I guess this provides some insight on the salary cap issue too. I don't see ineffective defensive players with big cap hits sticking around and it's gonna give the coaches the ability to approach some under performing d-lineman and say 'you aren't getting the new system, you're gone'

Re: Spags Released
Wow!!
I did not see that really coming either. GuessSeanP did not waht he saw. the 3-4 defense thing, nah. Good pr/privacy right-thing to say reaon for the public and that is fine and proper. I suspect it is what he saw and took notes on everyone and dvd' each game. No, SeanP was not at Saints and could not have anything of theirs, but he worked on his own. That is a no brainer. Speaking of no brains, the defense was just mostly not thinking this year. For Spaguolo, it is good for him really. Better for him. His career was swimming along nicely and he hit a mess here. Better leave out before it gets really bad on his record. |
Re: Spags Released
I see, a "mystery player" has to go public with a gripe and then things happen. It there is any truth to that this team is DOOMED!
