Re: Rob Ryan
Nothing? We did nothing. We did less than nothing. I don't even know how to describe how badly we did. If our defense was 19th in the league, there's a very good chance we'd be spiffing up all our black and gold and be starting up our pots of gumbo for our game this coming Sunday. That being said, I'd rather Ryan went elsewhere too, although it is kind of fun watching him cuss on the sidelines un-miked.

Re: Rob Ryan
The only thing I like about Rob Ryan is that he kinda looks like "The Dude". Take that for what you will...

Re: Rob Ryan
I think Ryan can add some fire and intensity that we have not seen since the 09 season. He may be a big mouth but that can also be a motivator. I think a lot of hate on here is because he coached for Dallas.
BTW does this sudden loss of interest by the Rams maybe have something to do with some behind the scenes goings on with Williams? |

Re: Rob Ryan
Rob Ryan has a great passion for the game that I enjoy. He does get carried away but SP could bring him back to reality. Moreover, he knows the 3-4 very well and has had success as a DC. There is a myth that he had some amazing talent in Dallas, this is not true. In Dallas he had no good DLs, 2 good/great OLBs, some no-name ILBs, two overrated CBs that have potential but get talked up too much and no good cover safties.
Ill take our DBs (yes, they play well in man-man but spags showed us they suck in the zone) over Dals Ill take our DLs over Dals Ill take our ILBs over Dals |

Re: Rob Ryan
On Espn today they were saying that Saints are waiting for the season to be over so they can talk to the Niners or Ravens DC for the job.

No way.... I don't think he can even fit in the Mercedes Benz Superdome. He'll be taking Emeril for all his food money.

Re: Rob Ryan
I have a soft spot for old Buddy. He was one of my favorites so I always wanted to see his kids do well. They just were dropped on their heads too much. I don't put a lot of stock in Ryan's time in Dallas. He didn't get much of a shot and they were decimated with injuries. Take away two of any teams top 3 defenders and things get ugly.
If he lands here I can live with it. |
