Saints could be the next NFC South representative in the Sup
i was reading the article and down at the bottom where the readers can write their opinions i found this from a bucs fan:
\"As a Bucs fan, let me say this... Posted by ajo79 Aug 31, 9:57 pm The Saints are a team I have nothing but respect for. An underrated OL, top 5 RB, decent QB and a steady stable of WRs on offense. Defense is a little ify, but their DL looks pretty good and pretty deep and that can mask an awful lot of other defensive shortcomings (see CAR from last year). Atlanta has a new offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator and head coach, which translates to a pretty bad season most of the time. Their defense is also still very suspect especially in the secondary. And my God, the Falcons have one of the worst OL\'s in football. I\'m sure Vick would love to take a 3 step drop and not have to run for his life due to a 300 lb linemen in his face but he doesn\'t have a choice. Falcons look like a last place team to me... Ahhh the NFC Champion Panthers. They have a decent team, but the OL looks about as bad as ATLs which is a shame when you think about how well they performed last year. But losing stud guard Jeno James (Cat\'s best run blocker), Kevin Donnally and Todd Steussie has left this team with a good center and an unproven LT (remember, he played RT last year). And the secondary... ugh. Do the Panthers really think they are gonna win with a slow footed rookie (although I think he will be solid eventually) and a guy who had 1 good Playoff game? Panthers will likely finish 2nd or 3rd depending on how the newly annointed football God Jake Delhomme performs... don\'t even get me started on him. The Bucs are a team that might catch some people by suprise. I know haters like to harp on losing Sapp, Lynch and Keyshawn but realistically all the Bucs really lost was their leadership. The Bucs now have speed on offesne with Galloway and Garner in the fold, a pretty scary thought if you think about it considering the Bucs have NEVER had speed on offense. The defense will feature the NFC\'s best secondary with Barber, Kelly, Smith and Phillips. The Buc LBing trio will be amongst the fastest and most athletic in the NFL and the DL features LT Killa Simeon Rice along with rising star Booger McFarland. OL play, run stopping and special teams will be the key to how far the Buc go, but don\'t be suprised if you see them lurking around in the Playoffs... I think the South comes down to the 2 most complete teams in the South: The Saints and Bucs. Realistically though, any team could win the South if the chips fall their way. However, this is what I envision: NO TB CAR ATL \" http://www.sportsline.com/messages/m...94003825-ajo79 |

Somebody in Tampa actually has some sense. The Saint\'s have the Bucs number and will have again this year. I think the Bucs will wind up at the bottom of the division only because of all the new players they have taken on and old ones that new the system.

People are giving the Falcons too much credit. I doubt they win 6 games this year. Vick has that \"deer in the headlights\" look about him. He\'ll be running - running scared.

Hey Fever, I agree with you about Vick, he has taken a few good hits in the preseason and been taken out of the game immediately afterwards. The Falcons won\'t be able to do this during the regular season and I think that Vick will last at least 8 to 10 games before someone gets him. Everyone it seems is trying to crush him everytime they touch him. Not good for Vick.
