PFT-Rob Ryan on Saints’ radar
Rob Ryan on Saints’ radar | ProFootballTalk
Rob Ryan has been out of work for closer to five weeks than five minutes, but he may be close to landing another job. Ryan is a candidate to become the next defensive coordinator of the Saints, according to NFL Network’s Gil Brandt. Saints coach Sean Payton has already said that his next coordinator will be someone who primarily runs a 3-4 defense. Other candidates who have been named include Romeo Crennel and Eric Mangini. Ryan has been unemployed since the Cowboys fired him in early January. He was reportedly close to becoming the Rams’ defensive coordinator, but the Rams confirmed last week that Ryan will not be joining their coaching staff. |
I'm no one.
Who are you? |

Re: PFT-Rob Ryan on Saints’ radar
I dunno, what I can tell you about Rob Ryan is that I thought he was going to land a coaching job after moving out from Cleveland as the DC.
Why? Because the years he was DC in Cleveland, they were quite good on defense, to me it looked like Rob was the heart and soul of the entire team compared to all the other crap they had, not to mention lack of any talent on that defense. I take his tenure in Dallas with a gain of salt. |

I dunno about the Ryans. Yes Rob is a better option than his douchenozzle brother, but it just seems like these guys invite a lot of press.

I don't know about this one. Dallas was pretty below average all last year.

Re: PFT-Rob Ryan on Saints’ radar
This feels like more like "Sean Payton will go to Dallas" talk than anything else.
