Ryan has more character than spags, can you remember how many players saying they loved playing for GW because he was intense, firey and made guys play better

Ryan, to me, is GW without all the "cut off the head & the body will die" rhetoric. They're both a couple characters who rely too much on 'false motivation' techniques to get the most out of their guys instead of just coaching them up.

I wouldn't like this move if it turned out to be true.
It would also bother me in the sense that it would tell us that SP never had a masterplan to fix the defense with precise forethought steps, because Ryan was already almost hired by the Rams and could've easily been already unattainable - if he was the guy SP wanted to get all along. |
