this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know I'm going to get some bad looks for asking this question but the guy has talent and size something our secondry needs. In our division we have big receivers on every team and we don't have a CB ...

Aqib Talib
I know I'm going to get some bad looks for asking this question but the guy has talent and size something our secondry needs. In our division we have big receivers on every team and we don't have a CB over six foot so I was wondering what you guys thought about bring him to the Saints.

Re: Aqib Talib
It could work, but Payton would have to get a handle on his "issues"

Re: Aqib Talib
I completely agree with the point about the undersized corners, and the Saints need to do something about it or they'll just keep getting burned by big receivers
but from everything I've heard about Talib, I don't know I'd want somebody with those kinds of character issues on the team. |

Re: Aqib Talib
I would welcome Talib. As far as his off the field issues....sometimes you gotta take the risk if it means making your team better. There's a locker room full of high character guys that can help keep him on the right path.
But at this point I'd rather take a risk with a guy with character issues than continue to pick high character guys that can't help your team. **** happens in life. Take a chance and see if he can do better. |
