The New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins and League Officials have been in contact and consultation throughout the day discussing all of the potential alternatives with regards to playing our preseason game on Friday night at 7:00 pm in the Louisiana Superdome.

As of late this afternoon, we are still planning our schedule and game preparations to play the game on Friday night at 7:00 pm in the Superdome.

If there are any changes to this schedule, we will immediately alert the news media and the general public. We appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.

The New Orleans Saints have announced that the start of the preseason game tonight with the Miami Dolphins has been moved up from a 7:00 pm kickoff to a 6:30 pm kickoff.

\"Due to the circumstances surrounding Hurricane Frances, we have decided to move the kickoff up 30 minutes to 6:30 pm to assist the Miami Dolphins in hopes that they will be able to return to South Florida as early as possible,\" said Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis. \"We have spoken with the Dolphins throughout this whole process and we feel this is very important to ensure that we do what we can to accommodate them during this tough situation.\"

Gates at the Louisiana Superdome will open at 5:00 pm.
